Description

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a rare banner flag made by the PARAMOUNT Flag Co., San Francisco which started in the mid 1930s, and measures approximately 24”x 93”. The flag has been stitched together in sections. There are 48 stars on this flag. In general terms cotton flags were issued during WWII and nylon flags were issued during the Korean War. Earlier WWII flags were typically constructed from a wool blend. I’m thinking this flag is the wool blend type, but I’m not a expert in fabric. Condition is extremely clean with just a few small stains on the stripes. Banner has two brass hang grommets intact. Will make a wonderful display piece for any American World War Two collection.
